New features, fixes, and improvements to Mentiontone.
Save any mention to your team's bookmark list so you can come back to it later. Bookmarks are shared across your whole team, making it easy to collect mentions worth discussing or referencing in a report.
Access your bookmarks from the menu at the top right, or use the bookmark icon on any mention card.
You can now triage mentions directly from the feed. Mark them as spam, dismiss them, or archive entire threads at once. Bulk-mark-as-read lets you clear the backlog in a single click, and a new triage history log shows every action taken on a thread so nothing disappears without a trace.
Triaged mentions are hidden from the default view but always accessible via the status filter if you need to revisit them.
You can now create custom color-coded tags and apply them to authors. Use tags to mark influential accounts, known detractors, partners, or any category that matters to your workflow. Tagged authors are searchable and their tags appear wherever the author is shown in the feed.
Mentiontone now monitors the Nostr protocol. Your keyword alerts will pick up public notes and replies across the decentralized network alongside your existing platforms.
You can enable Nostr for your team under Settings → Platforms.
Hacker News stories and comments are now available as a monitoring platform. Alerts scan both submissions and comment threads, so you'll catch mentions whether someone posts a link to your site or mentions you in a discussion.
Mentiontone now ships an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server. Point any compatible AI agent at your team's MCP endpoint and it can query your mentions, summarize sentiment, and pull recent threads directly — no API scripting required.

You can now configure an outgoing webhook to receive real-time notifications whenever a new mention arrives. Each request is HMAC-signed so you can verify it came from Mentiontone. Request signing and delivery logs are available in Settings → Notifications.
The Mentiontone REST API is now available. Use it to pull mentions and alerts into your own tooling, dashboards, or automations. API keys are scoped to your team and can be created and revoked under Settings → API keys.

A new Analytics section gives you an at-a-glance view of your mention volume, sentiment breakdown, platform distribution, and activity heatmap. Charts update as new mentions arrive, and you can filter by alert or date range.
The AI summary tab generates a plain-English digest of the period's trends, useful for weekly reports or stakeholder updates.
After a few months of private testing, Mentiontone is open to early-access teams. The core experience is live: set up keyword alerts, connect your platforms, and watch mentions arrive in a chronological feed with honest sentiment scoring.
Reddit is supported at launch, with more platforms on the way. If you have an invite code, you can sign up at the top of this page. Otherwise, join the waitlist.
You can now route mention notifications to Discord channels. Connect your workspace under Settings → Notifications → Discord, then choose which alerts feed into which channel. Each notification includes the mention text, platform, sentiment score, and a direct link to the thread.
Mentiontone can now post new mentions to Slack. Connect your workspace and map each alert to a channel. You can route high-priority alerts to a dedicated room and everything else to a catch-all channel. The integration uses Slack's official OAuth flow and can be disconnected at any time.
Mentions written in a language other than your team's preferred language can now be translated on demand. Click the translate button on any mention card to see an English version alongside the original. The original text is always preserved and visible.
Mentiontone now monitors Bluesky via the AT Protocol firehose. Keyword alerts pick up public posts and replies in near real-time. Bluesky support is enabled by default for all teams — no additional setup required.
Each team now has a personal RSS/Atom feed at /feed.atom. Drop it into any RSS reader to get your mentions without logging in. The feed is authenticated with a per-team token that you can rotate under Settings → API keys.
