Including your account email and, where relevant, a link to the thread or alert you're asking about makes it much faster to help.

Slack

Connect Slack from Settings → Notifications. Mentiontone then posts new matching mentions to the channel you pick, and lets you triage them from Slack with the message buttons.

The Slack app asks only for the permissions it needs to do that: post messages, list channels so you can choose one, join the public channel you select, and add reaction emoji to reflect a mention's status. It does not read your Slack messages.

To stop it, choose Disconnect on the same settings page, or remove the app from your Slack workspace. Disconnecting deletes the stored access token and Mentiontone stops posting immediately.

If messages stop arriving, check that the channel still exists, that it is public or that the app has been invited to it, and that the connection does not show an error on the notifications page. The Send test message button there confirms the link end to end.

Signing in

Sign-in is by magic link: enter your email and we send an 8-digit code, valid for 15 minutes and usable once. If it doesn't arrive, check your spam folder and confirm you used the address the account was created with. Email hello@mentiontone.com if you've lost access to that mailbox.

Billing

Subscriptions are handled by Stripe and can be changed or cancelled from your billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. For invoices, VAT details, or refund questions, email us.

Your data

To access, export, or delete your data, email hello@mentiontone.com from your account address. Our Privacy Policy covers what we collect and how long we keep it, and the Terms of Service govern use of the service.

Reporting a security issue

Please report vulnerabilities privately to hello@mentiontone.com rather than in public. Include the steps to reproduce and we'll confirm receipt.
