The service

Mentiontone monitors publicly available mentions of the terms you choose across Reddit, Hacker News, Bluesky, X, Mastodon, Lobsters, and Nostr, and scores them for sentiment. Mentiontone is operated by Philipp Defner, 10115 Berlin, Germany.

Your account

You must provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. You must be legally able to enter into these terms to use the service.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed in advance for the period you select. Payments are processed by Stripe. You can cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

Acceptable use

Don't use Mentiontone to break the law, infringe others' rights, or attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the service. Don't resell access without our written agreement.

Data from third-party platforms

Mentiontone surfaces content published on third-party platforms. That content belongs to its authors and the platforms it comes from, and remains subject to their terms. We provide it for monitoring and analysis and make no guarantee of completeness or availability.

Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes and termination

We may update these terms or the service over time and will announce significant changes by email or in the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
